Meet Our Team

Cindy Libert, M.D., Functional Medicine Physician & Founder of The Joy Prescription
My passion is helping people transform their health and reach their full potential. I love people and enjoy spending time learning their stories. My goal is to identify the root cause of symptoms, and use the most gentle, natural solutions to bring the body back into balance. I take a holistic, systems biology approach, utilizing the best of modern medical diagnostics/treatments, as well as natural remedies. I am a life-long learner and student of functional medicine, Scripture, neuroscience, medical herbalism, epigenetics and using food as medicine.

Brooke Jack, Director of Health Education, The Joy Prescription
In early childhood, my first career aspiration was that of a schoolteacher. Coming from a long line of educators, there were always teachable moments to be had– even grocery store visits involved lessons in accounting and economics! Through my family’s influence, I developed a passion for teaching and leading others. One of my greatest joys is to see people discover and unlock their potential to live whole, energized, and purposeful lives. Before I took a leap of faith to start a creative design and communications business, I worked as an administrator and surgery coordinator at a pediatric dental office. Presently, I also have the great privilege of pastoring a growing church in Asheville with my husband and in-laws. I oversee the children’s ministries, lead a women’s connect group, and assist with administrative duties and ministry development. I love diversity and am driven by challenges, so it seems that both my work opportunities and ministry involvement keep me stimulated and satisfied in that sense! I earned a BS in Family and Consumer Sciences from the University of Georgia in Athens, GA and am enrolled in a correspondence Bible school. I enjoy hiking, golfing, event planning, baking, college football (Go Dawgs!), and writing. I aspire to one day write children’s books that, as you might guess, provide teachable moments! I am a proud mother of three wonderful children and four fur-babies, all of whom delight in being my “office assistants” and inspire me to pause and take pleasure in the simple joys of life! Jade Williams, RN, NBC-HWC, Certified Health and Wellness Coach
As a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach, my passion is empowering people to make sustainable life changes that result in improved health and happiness! My goal is to co-create completely personalized action plans that truly reflect the uniqueness of the individual.
Prior to pursuing a career in health coaching, I worked as a registered nurse for nearly 10 years in various settings including emergency medicine, cardiac, and private duty nursing. Yet, I never quite felt like I was making a difference in a way that fulfilled me and was in line with my gifts and passions. I’ve since discovered that health coaching enables me to do just that! I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Libert when I was an infusion nurse. Not only does Dr. Libert radiate joy and peace, but her passion for her work and ministry is contagious! I’m honored to have the opportunity to not only partner with her, but to learn from her as well. I am a graduate of Vanderbilt University’s Health Coaching Certification Program and have my Integrative Nutrition Health Coach Certificate from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. I’m a wannabe homesteader that enjoys vegetable gardening and spending way too much time daydreaming about having chickens and goats! I also volunteer for a local horse rescue. I love staying active by running, hiking, kayaking, doing yoga, and playing with my chocolate lab, Chance, and my Australian Shepherd, Sadie.Read more
